Every pick shows its work.
A result opens with the Sonic Secret, one line on the moment that makes the song work, followed by songs built around that same moment. After that come the batches, and every pick in them carries a one-line reason.

04 · WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
It doesn't watch you listen.
- Ads & trackers
- None. The app runs no analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs and sets no cookies. This site doesn't load any trackers either.
- Audio to the AI
- Never. Gemini only gets text, such as the song you picked, the candidate songs gathered for it, and anything you type into Max chat. It never gets the audio, your name or your email.
- Liked songs
- Stored on your device. They never reach Type Studio's servers.
- Your data
- Not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train any model.
- Deleting
- Delete any run from its card, or the whole account under Settings, Manage Account.

Short answers.
Do I need Spotify or Apple Music?
No. You never sign in to a streaming service. Search runs against the Apple Music catalog, previews play inside the app, and each pick links out to Spotify, Apple Music or Last.fm if you want the full song there.
How good are the picks?
Usually good, but an AI writes them, so treat them as best-effort. A reason can be wrong even when it reads confidently, and a song might not be available in your region. When a batch misses, a Max chat request or another run usually does better.
Why did my first run take longer?
The backend sleeps when nobody is using it. The first run after a quiet stretch has to wake it up, which adds a little time.
I already use Type Studio. Do I need a new account?
No. TYPE-02 shares Type Studio's account system, so the same sign-in, credits, Type Pro subscription and run history work in both apps.
When can I get it?
